I love hotels, and I have the pleasure of living in them quite often. It happens that I travel with friends, and sometimes I notice that they are not very good at adopting the rights prevailing in hotels, even more – they do not know what their rights are. That’s why I created this mini-guide to cabin rentals in virginia. Some tips are trivial, but experience has taught me that even the most obvious ones are not practiced by hotel guests.
DON’T SAVE ON RESERVATIONS
Taking the cheapest rooms (standard). Differences in prices can be minimal, and often a slightly more expensive room (e.g., double room) is better than the cheapest class.
ADVISE AGAINST BOOKING THROUGH THE HOTEL WEBSITE
Often, they are technically very imperfect, and even more often – they have prices higher than on booking portals. The rule is confirmed that the earlier the booking, the lower the price, cabin rentals in virginia but sometimes it is impossible to predict the visit, and you pay huge money for medium-quality hotels. The above point does not always apply to large hotel chains, whose sites are professionally done.
DON’T BUY BREAKFAST
90% of the hotels make them pay dearly, and the offer is hopeless. In my life, I have been to only a few hotels with an excellent breakfast offer
HOTELS IN THE CITY CENTER MAY BE TWO AND THREE TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THOSE IN FURTHER DISTRICTS.
Communication in major European cities (and especially the UK) is so good that it will be much cheaper if you find out about the metro or trams. Even taxis can go cheaper because you do not go to the center more often than twice a day. Coming to London, I took the hotel in nearby France (Best Western chain), in Dubai, I found myself in the northern part of the city, from where I reached the city center by subway in 20 minutes.
DO NOT TRUST PHOTOS
They all lie, especially those showing the size of the room. Check the area on offer and never go below 15 square meters. A nice “large” room starts from 25 meters.
NO BUDDY OR BLOGGER WILL GIVE YOU SUCH A RELIABLE OPINION ABOUT THE HOTEL
As negative customer feedback on booking.com. Holiday check, trip advisor, hotels.com, trivago.com etc. Never take a room that has a rating below 7/10 (I try not to take those below 8/10).
HOTEL STARS WILL NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH A MORE COMFORTABLE BED
Faster network or tastier dishes, but they indicate what amenities you can count on (dryer in the bathroom, laundry, fridge, etc
